Eucalyptus oil when taken in nebulized forms kills bacteria in the trachea and Lungs. Colonization of microorganisms and biofilm(a layer of microbes / a plaque)  formation inside the tracheal tube have been described as permanent sources of infection for the inferior airway. Anti-Biotics are not so effective on these plaques. Hence, comes the Eucalyptus Oil in role to get rid of this biofilm/microbes/bacteria.

While I usually use Naturalis brand oils ,since it was not available at the time of writing i am attaching other brand Eucalyptus Oil. Once found Naturalis Eucalyptus again I will update this blog.




Dosage/Methods

Well all the studies, corpus, derivations are from Nebulizers and Eucalyptus Oil. It works best with Nebulizer. Its Tashir is cold and helps remove mucous and biofilm. Its the best method. However, you can use it with steamer also. 

Steamer: Use  3-6 drops periodically in 1 session itself
Nebulizer: 1 drop is sufficient for regular use/ more if you have chronic Lungs disease or pneumonia 

Side effects of Eucalytus Oil
